Good morning, thank you for your patience over the last 48 hours. Due to the nature of the cyber incident we have had to communicate in a specific manner based on advice from our security team & legal counsel. We know some of this has caused frustration. We can expand further this morning.
The cyber incident that occurred on Friday morning was an attack on our cloud management infrastructure. Our security systems reacted quickly to alert and block the threat actor, which led to the immediate blocking of cloud access on Friday morning. However, the attack did have an impact on our infrastructure. The attack was complex and was performed by a serious threat actor, therefore the plan to “unwind” the damage has been complex also. Our cloud and security team have been following our incident response plan over the last 48 hours to ensure that when services are brought back online, we are mitigating any further incidents. Importantly, as of now, there is no reason to believe that client data or applications have been exfiltrated or breached. We continue to analyze this forensically.
